KS Primer
KS Primer is a water-based, clear liquid primer and penetrant which is applied to carbon-carbon composite and/or carbon-ceramic (C/SiC ceramic-matrix composite) brake disks and components. It is designed for use with ZYP Coatings’ Carbo KS. Using KS Primer with Carbo KS as a topcoat provides excellent oxidation resistance, as well as enhanced protection against catalytic oxidation caused by deicer fluid contamination.
