YSZ-A RefPak
YSZ-A RefPak provides a ready-to-use, water-based, packable refractory based on Yttria-stabilized (8-9 mol% Y2O3) Zirconia (ZrO2) [YSZ] and Alumina (Al2O3) – providing high-temperature erosion and chemical resistance. With a putty-like consistency, YSZ-A RefPak can be hand-packed or troweled into place – stiffening on air drying and setting to a very tough refractory as it is heated to use-temperatures of 800 C to 1300 C. YSZ-A RefPak can be packed into/onto ceramic materials to veneer, hand-packed into free-standing shapes, or hand-packed into hex-steel mesh for lining metal substrates.
