Zypcoat® CTO
Zypcoat CTO is based on a mixed oxide – Calcium-Titanium-Oxide, CaTiO3, which has melting point of 1970 C and a high thermal expansion. Zypcoat CTO forms >94% CaTiO3 as the fired composition, and is usable in all atmospheres to over 1500 C. The coating is designed for highly refractory metal substrates, such as Inconel, Hastelloy, Nichrome, Haynes Alloy 214, but can be used for most stainless steel compositions. Due to its high melting point and expected high stability with most materials, Zypcoat CTO is suitable for research-and-development studies at extreme temperature and conditions.
