JK 41
JK 41 is a specially formulated BN coating for the extreme stretching of superplastic forming operations. The uniform-sized BN particles give good adhesion and lubrication over the superplastic-forming/quick-plastic-forming (SPF/QPF) cycle. The consistency of JK 41 is ideal for automatic or robotic air-spraying setups.
- Provides lubrication over the entire SPF-QPF cycle
- Flows with the metal
- Permits easy removal/release after forming
- Minimizes coating build-up on dies
- Ideal for robotic spraying application
- Safe, Water-Based
- Coating metal sheets that are to be SPF-QPF processed
- For any parts that are to be coated with automatic/robotic air-spraying equipment

BN Lubricoat-ZS and BN Lubricoat-Blue-ZS
BN Lubricoat-ZS is the same as our regular BN Lubricoat except for using a hydrochloric-acid “peptizer” instead of nitric-acid. The “ZS” version is thus somewhat better in adherence and also more dilutable with water than our regular BN Lubricoat. The “ZS” works well as long as the surface/substrate is OK with this type of acidic carrier.
- Totally Non-Wetted by Molten Aluminum, Magnesium, Zinc and Their Drosses
- Acts Like Teflon® to Molten Metal
- Protects Ceramics, Metals and Graphite
- Maintenance is Reduced and Operator Satisfaction Maximized
- Dilutable to Most Any Level
- Applied Like House Paint
- Safe, Water-Based, No VOC’s

BN Aerosol Lubricoat
BN Aerosol Lubricoat is a convenient aerosol-can for applying thin, uniform, quick-drying layers of BN onto most any substrate. The aerosol-can allows the creation of a dry-film-lubricant and provides the great properties of BN that is easy-to-use with low electrical conduction; high thermal conduction; prevents reactions between materials; and has superior release.
