ZYP Coatings, Inc. pioneered the use of boron nitride-based coatings for non-wetting applications with molten aluminum, magnesium and their alloys and drosses. The Boron Nitride Lubricoat¨ is known as leader for foundry uses, including coating crucibles, ladles, moulds, dies, stalk tubes, riser tubes, immersion tubes, degassing units, bubbler tubes, etc. A totally new product, Boron Nitride Hardcoat, was developed to meet customer requests for added hardness and abrasion resistance along with the nonwetting of boron nitride.
