ZYP Coatings' WHITE SILK BORON NITRIDE allows an inexpensive, thin boron nitride layer to act as a barrier to prevent diamond matrix or metal bond powder from sticking to graphite molds and plungers/punches at temperatures above 850 C. By merely spraying the White Silk aerosol onto a thoroughly cleaned graphite, ceramic, or metal substrate, a uniform white BN coating will prevent the metal bond powder from sticking to the plungers/punches. Simply allow the coating to dry completely at room temperature (takes only a minute or so) before placing into service -- processing with the standard sintering cycle.
