BRAZE STOP-OFF Paints are available as safe, water-based formulations or a fast-drying, easy-to-use aerosol for general brazing tasks that act like Teflon® to braze alloys. The coatings effectively keep molten filler metal from touching and brazing metal parts, from running over onto unwanted areas, and keep holes and cut/milled areas from filling with metal. The water-based coatings are applied like house paint, by brush or spray; aerosol version gives fast dry. These coatings can also act as excellent release coatings to prevent metal sticking during heat treatments.
