BN Aerosol Brushable
ZYP Coating's Boron Nitride Aerosol can is used for easy application of a non-aqueous, fast-drying coating. However, for larger-scale needs, often needing application by brushing or traditional air-spraying means, an aerosol can is limiting. Therefore, BN-AEROSOL-BRUSHABLE is offered as the same formulation that is used in our aerosol can but in BULK (paint) form, sold by the gallon. As with the aerosol can, the boron nitride coating that results is often ideal where water-based coatings are not desired. Also, the BN-AEROSOL-BRUSHABLE formulation can be used in any environment ... air as well as inert or vacuum and to the normal temperature limits of boron nitride - air, 1000-1100 C; vacuum, 1400 C; inert, 1800 C [limited due to sublimation, although higher temperatures have been attained]. Coatings have low-to-medium hardness and are over 92% Boron Nitride. Note: coatings tend to "gray-out " during first heating to 400-800 C due to the binder; the normal white coloring will typically re-appear at >800 C. For more
